According to WCAG 2.0 standards and best practices; Sitech designed, built, and deployed a complete online real-time auction market place to help farmers and sellers connect and transact in a seamless and fully transparent mechanism.

The platform allows for farmers (sellers) to register and create auctions based on lots they have harvested during the high or low seasons. The auction variables are configurable to allow for multi day auction spans with direct buy out options. Moreover, the platform has a full credit card payment integration with buyer trust levels for leveraged auction amounts.

The platform holds a sophisticated wallet and internal accounting system to help track money movement including escrow processes.

Seamless Project Delivery and Launching Faster-to-Market

Sitech implemented good governance practices on the project, combining agility with an orderly project processes. The product was implemented with our phenomenal partner teams at Foah. The first phase was delivered in under 3 months. Challenges were immense given the end of season we were able to go live and prove some great success.

eZad: Technical Summary

Building heavy realtime systems is always challenging especially when sensitivity on auction bidding is an issue. We leveraged NodeJS with Redis pub/sub as our main channel for pushing & pulling bids from queue. Moreover a real-time logging mechanism is in place to ensure transparency specially on dispute cases.

The platform is deployed fully as a cloud-native application (containerized) and deployed on a high availability infrastructure using state of the art languages to ensure both performance and security.

We have done heavy integrations with internal ERPs and leveraged multiple queue mechanisms to ensure reliability. 

Bidding logs is stored in a NoSql Solution (Mongodb) to ensure faster retrieval and tracking.
